Advert Idea Generation

Design One
Concept
I am creating another ancillary text alongside my music video and digipak, with this being a magazine advert to promote the album 'Death Valley' by LP. It will be similar to my digipak in terms of style, using images from my music video to create clear links and synergy between the three products. I have drafted three very rough ideas regarding the design of my advert, and will decide as to which one to take forward and develop.
With this concept, I would have an image of the artist, likely to be the same as the front cover of my digipak, filling the entire frame. This would then link strongly with my digipak as many real world artists use the same image for their album cover and other promotional products to maintain synergy.
The name of the artist would be written in a large, bold font at the top of the page so it can clearly be seen who's music is being promoted. The album title would be on the lower half of the advert in a slightly smaller font than the name of the artist. Below this, I would have the release date so my target audience knows when the album is available for purchase.
Although I do like this idea, I do not think it would look sophisticated enough to fit the LP brand, so I am not going to carry this forward.
Design Two
With this design I would use a black background with an image of the artist filling the right side of the advert. I would likely use an additional image from the digipak, similarly to how Rihanna used a different image on her advert to her album cover with her record 'Loud'.
The titles would be confined to the edge of the left side of the advert to make more room for the image. The name of the album will be at the top so the audience reads this first with the name of the artist below it. The release date will be in a much smaller font below as this information is less important.
I have decided that I do not like this idea because not only will the 'exclusive' artwork in the digipak no longer be exclusive, but also because the titles will be much less prominent than the image of the artist.
Design Three
For this advert idea, rather than using an image of the artist, I would challenge the typical conventions of album adverts and use the image from the back cover of my digipak. I think this would work well because the sunset image subtly fades to a near black tone, which I could then use as a background to display the album information.
I would display the album title first as if the 'Death Valley' being advertised is part of the image above, with the name of the artist below it. I would then display the release date under this along with the names of the main singles from the album.
This is my favourite concept because it challenges the usual conventions, but still maintains synergy with the music video and digipak. It will also carry the symbolism of the music video, with vibrant colours fighting darkness. This will be the design I go on to develop further.
